Lenticular Holograms - You may not recognize their real name, but Lenticulars and lenticular images (also referred to as 3D Holograms or Holography) are those amazing little moving 3D photos, scenes , pictures and images that come in plastic that everyone just has to run their nail over! Commonly found in cereal packets and on mouse mats. This clever technique has advanced over the years, and the 3D depth, colour and motion that is now possible is truly awesome! And unlike holograms, they do not need special lighting conditions to be viewable. With full UV Offset, digital and wide format printing capabilities, 3DZ can produce all types of lenticular printing, including 3D, Flip, Morphing, Zooming and animated motion graphics. Many combinations of these techniques can be utilized together, giving the ultimate in visual attraction. Lenticular images can be produced in a huge range of sizes, even up to bill board size! and now in quantities from one to millions.

Flip type - Try to restrict yourself to a maximum of three complete changing images and preferably two. Anymore than 3 and the images will become merged, there will also not be enough of and angle to easily distinguish the different images easily. Also do try to avoid big constrast/colour changes between the changing images, e.g. white to black, as this can cause 'ghosting' this gives a shadowing effect of the second image, under the surface of the the first. 2D/3D - (The most common form of layered 2D to create varying depth or parallax) For smaller type work (i.e. postcards, mouse mats etc.) use atleast 3 layers and a maximum of 7 layers, bold contrasting colours work well for this type of Lenticular, place objects close on different layers close to one another to give the eye a reference to be able to differentiate the varying depth layers. Animation, Morph, Zoom - Use up to 30 frames, with very small incremental changes between frames. True
